Former Karnataka Minister G Janardhana Reddy, the founder of Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha, had previously indicated that his wife Aruna Lakshmi would run in the Ballari city assembly election. His current representative is the BJP’s, G Somasekhara Reddy. He is presently preparing for the upcoming elections, and in the initial stages, he is inviting local leaders to his Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha.
Janardhana Reddy has announced the names of his candidates for five assembly seats. Candidates for the Siraguppa, Sindanur, Nagathan, Kanakagiri, and Hiriyur assembly districts are announced. He thanked people in a tweet for their support since he announced his candidates of his party and asked ticket contenders from different constituencies to contact him via email because he was unable to meet everyone in person.
“Dear friends, The tremendous support I have received from people all throughout the nation since the Kalyan Rajya Pragati Party was announced on December 25th of last year is something I will always be grateful for. I am appreciative of the party ticket candidates from the Kalyana state’s numerous constituencies who come every day with their throngs of supporters. Yet I don’t get to talk to everyone who comes for very long. I’m worried about the people who are traveling from afar. Every day, thousands of people congregate close to Gangavati’s home, making it impossible to speak to each one individually” he tweeted. For ticket inquiries, he added the email address and requested that people contact him there. He promised to get in touch with them directly to talk about the competition.

Reddy’s brothers, G Karunakara Reddy and G Somashekar Reddy are BJP legislators representing the Harapanahalli and Ballari city assemblies, respectively. His close buddy Sriramulu is a BJP legislator representing the Molakalmuru district in Chitradurga. They have made it very clear that they support Janardhana Reddy’s new political party but are not associated with it.
