Gali Janardhana Reddy, the former BJP leader, and mining baron is all set to launch a new party ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections, which is causing concern within the ruling party. Several sources close to Janardhana Reddy have reported that he has already decided to launch a new party called “Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha.”. He is also expected to travel to New Delhi to register his party.
Former Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy, appears to be working to return to politics. In the past two weeks, he has been traveling to Koppal and Raichur districts in order to gauge voter sentiment.
In an attempt to return to active politics during the next year’s Assembly elections, Mr. Reddy, who has been accused in the mining case, is believed to have explored various options. Although the Supreme Court had prohibited him from visiting Ballari, Ananthapuram, and Kadapa, Mr. Reddy has been traveling to other districts and temples in the Kalyana Karnataka region.
