Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has abruptly canceled his visit to Koppal and Vijayanagar, which was set for Tuesday, sparking questions.
This cancellation has led to speculation on whether issues like the MUDA site allocation, the multi-crore Valmiki Corporation scams, and the BJP-JDS padayatra have put him on the defensive.
According to the original schedule, the Chief Minister was to perform the traditional bagina at the Tungabhadra dam, which has been filled due to heavy rainfall. However, this was yet to be confirmed by the Chief Minister’s office, and the program was postponed a day before his visit.
Vijayanagara Deputy Commissioner M S Divakar informed the media on Monday about the postponement of the CM’s program.
