Despite a decrease in covid cases in the Ballari and Vijayanagara districts, the positive rate remains a worry. Experts have urged tighter restrictions on people’s movements in order to effectively control covid cases.
As a result, it is now ordered that “All Banks (Both Nationalized and Private), Microfinance Institutions, Insurance Offices, and Co-operative Banks” be closed from June 2, 2021 to June 4, 2021.
Furthermore, in order to ensure that cash is available to the people, banks have been told to keep all ATMs in the district open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Banks are also directed to maintain sufficient cash availability in ATMs through frequent cash loading. This order will be in effect in the districts of Ballari and Vijayanagara.
