A 50-bed Covid care Center has been set up in the Guest House of Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari.
There are two beds in each room with a toilet and other basic amenities. Proper care and nurses are available 24 hours. There will also be a specialist doctor to monitor the health of the patients. In addition to this, Yoga, meditation treatment are also given to the patients.
The second wave of covid has been spreading through the state, with a rise in the number of people infected every day. The death toll has also increased, causing public concern. Despite attempts by the state government to minimize the spread of Covid, bed and oxygen shortages continue to be a problem.
