Bangaru Hanumanta, stated that his loss in Sandur is just a stepping stone towards future success.
Hanumanta shared a post on social media, expressing his thoughts, saying, “Winning and losing are part of life. I sincerely thank the people of Sandur, who brought me close to victory. This defeat is a stepping stone to the next one.”
He further emphasized that the courage and support shown by the people of Sandur for the Bharatiya Janata Party this time is a prelude to future victories. Hanumanta urged party workers to view the defeat as a challenge and work hard to organize for the upcoming elections without hesitation.
Hanumanta also expressed his gratitude towards the party’s state leadership, including former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, and party state unit president Vijayendra, acknowledging their support throughout his campaign. “Though I lost, I owe my thanks to the leaders, friends, and workers who stood by me during this journey,” he said.
He reassured his supporters, stating that power is not the only measure of service to the people of Sandur. “Even though I lost this by-election, my confidence remains unshaken. As a son of Sandur, I will continue to serve the people,” he wrote in his post.
After the defeat, Hanumanta received support and consolation from party leaders. Both senior and local leaders visited his residence, discussing the reasons for the loss, the lessons to be learned, and how to improve for the future.
