The Ballari district administration has planned to commence a four-day COVID-19 vaccination dose-2 drive on Wednesday in response to complaints about the non-availability of the vaccine for people who have already had their first dosage and are waiting for the second.
Those who received their first dose of Covaxin vaccination 28 days ago and their second dose of Covishield 84 days ago are eligible to receive their second dosage during the drive. The officers urged eligible people in the Ballari and Vijayanagar districts to visit the nearest public health facility and receive the second dose.
The District Health and Family Welfare Officer stated in a press release issued on Monday that the drive will begin on Wednesday and end on Saturday.
