Red Cross Organization talks about physical fitness of Revenue dept staff

Revenue department staff are working very hard, by doing overtime, which is affecting their lifestyle. In this backdrop, the staff of the Red Cross Organization, Bellary unit president and district officer, SS Krishnakumar, urged staff to focus on physical fitness and change their lifestyle. Said DC Nakul.

He was speaking at the launch of a free heart check camp organized by the Indian Red Cross for the Revenue Department staff for World Heart Day on Tuesday at the city’s office.

To cut it, we have to change our way of life. He suggested that a healthy lifestyle was necessary even in the midst of work stress. DC Nakul said 28 people from the Bellary DC office have recovered from COVID’s infection and all should be checked for diabetes, hypertension and ECG.

Red Cross Building: Indian Red Cross Service is doing a great job in the district. DC Nakul said in his words that the service rendered by Red Cross volunteers was amazing even in the recent COVID event. He said the Indian Red Cross House was planned to be constructed near Allipuram.

He said the building would facilitate other camps and programs, including the Red Cross Health Camp. Deputy Collector P.S. Manjunatha, Vims Director Dr. | Devananda, Red Cross Vice President SJV Mahipal spoke. Bellary Heart Temple Head & Cardiologist Narendra Gowda gave a special lecture. Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Shakib narrated. Then the specialist doctors and health department staff performed the cardiac checks and other health checks.
