The government has decided to reopen hostels throughout the state, it has also been suggested by the Minister Of Health and Family Welfare, Sriramulu to install high-speed WIFI in every hostel.
“The number of college students in the post-matric hostel should be reduced by 50 percent and only that percentage of students should be accommodated. Only Interested students and healthy students are recommended to be admitted. The rest can stay at home and ask for online lectures. There have been talks on providing a tablet PC or Smartphones for the students” says the minister.
Isolation wards in each hostel have been ordered to be established compulsorily. With the guidance of the COVID Nodal Officers in each taluk, everything is done according to the SOP rules.
