Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a three-day visit to Karnataka for the final phase of campaigning ahead of the state elections. Today, he addressed public rallies in Ballary and Tumakuru districts. Tomorrow, PM Modi will hold a large roadshow in Bengaluru that will pass through 18 Assembly constituencies and will be divided into two parts.
During his speech, which had a political focus, the Prime Minister mentioned “Congress will have to pay the price in this election, for playing politics at the time of crisis. In the last few years, Congress has been using the power of money and its ecosystem to create false narratives in order to win elections,” says PM Modi in Ballari
“For BJP, its manifesto is ‘Sankalp Patra’ which has the roadmap to make Karnataka the No.1 state of India. On the other hand, Congress’ manifesto is full of false promises, Cong. wanted to do politics on Sudan issue and take advantage of it in K’taka polls as many stranded there were from the State”: Modi
“When govt. was making efforts to get stranded Indians from Sudan back, Cong. did not stand with country. When BJP made a tribal woman as Presidential candidate, Congress opposed her” Modi at Ballari election rally
“Congress did not strengthen the tribal community, neither did it respect their culture. Terrorism is against humanity, human values; I’m surprised for the sake of vote bank, Cong. has surrendered before terror.” PM Modi at Ballari election rally
“The Kerala Story ” is under discussion these days; it is said the film reveals terror conspiracies in that State. For vote-bank politics, Congress has nurtured and given shelter to terror, alleges PM Modi at election rally.
