Newly Devised Lockdown guidelines for Ballari

The complete 5-days lockdown that was imposed by the Ballari district administration that had to be in force till 24th May 6 AM has been extended and will be in force till 31st May 6 AM. This decision prohibits the movement of the public unwantedly.

The purchase of essential commodities has been allowed for two days, that is on 24th and 25th May from 6 AM to 12 PM only, informs the Deputy Commissioner of Ballari Pavan Kumar Malapati.

It was announced in a press release on Saturday which said, sale of groceries, fruits, vegetables, Alcoholic beverages, Meat and fish, and animal food will be allowed. The social distancing norms shall be strictly followed in the sale allowed places, says Pavan Kumar Malapati.

In Ballari city, the sale of fruits and vegetables will be carried out in Eidgah ground, ITI college ground, NCC ground, St. John’s college ground, Kitturu Rani Chennamma school ground, district playground,

In Hosapete, Dam ground, VNC ground, Deepayan school ground, M J Nagar Pani Puri ground, Patel High school ground, Bala Talkies ground.

Marriage functions and other social gatherings have been completely prohibited till June 7th says DC Pavan Kumar Malapati.
The lockdown guidelines that were released on May 18th in the district is to be followed exactly the same way in Ballari and Vijayanagara districts.

“The defaulters who fail to comply with lockdown guidelines will be booked with the charges of violation of Disaster Management act and few other acts”, warns the DC. After 31st, post analysis and surveys of the COVID situation in this district, further restrictions and rules will be revised, says DC.
