Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores recently achieved a significant milestone by successfully initiating its renewable energy ventures in Kudligi Taluk, Vijayanagara District, Karnataka State, India. The company’s latest accomplishment includes the operationalization of a 33 MW Solar Power Plant and 3X3300 KW, 9.9 MW Wind Turbine Generators, along with the necessary electrical infrastructure. These installations are seamlessly integrated into the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) grid, ensuring efficient power distribution.

The successful implementation of these renewable energy initiatives has allowed Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores to fulfill its goal of securing cost-effective power. This achievement directly aids the smooth operation of the company’s three existing furnaces located at the ferroalloy plant in Vyasankere, Hosapete Taluk, Vijayanagara District, Karnataka State. Moreover, it paves the way for future expansion endeavors within the region.
