Jindal Steels chairman Sajjan Jindal claims that the Kadapa Steel Factory will be the greenest steel factory in the world. In 1995, Sajjan pointed out, the JSW steel factory in Bellary only had a 1.2 million tonne capacity. Its current capacity is 13 million tonnes of steel production. According to him, it will produce 25 million tonnes in the next three years, making it the largest plant.
In admiration of Jagan Reddy’s ethical working practices, the JSW chairman said, “I have been informed of Jagan Reddy’s special welfare projects by many leaders and chief ministers during my visits to different states.”
When Jindal thought back on his relationship with the YSR family, he remarked that “father Rajasekhar Reddy had encouraged his young son Jagan” to gain business expertise. The state is now experiencing phenomenal growth thanks to Jagan Reddy’s outstanding service to the public and AP, he claimed.
He mentioned that four ports in AP will fuel the state’s economic expansion. According to him, the Kadapa steel plant would use green energy and be the largest and greenest enterprise in the world.
Others included Special CS (Industries and Commerce) Karikal Valaven, deputy chief minister Amzath Basha, municipal administration and urban development minister Audimulapu Suresh, and Jammalamadugu Legislator Sudheer Reddy were present.
YSR Steel Corporation MD Shan Mohan, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, and Sajjan Jindal, chairman of the JSW Group, were some of the speakers.
