Gali Janardhan Reddy has committed to giving 6 crore rupees toward the renovation of the Shah Khalil Ullah Khadri Dargah in Gangavati, Koppal district.
He visited the Dargah in Gangavati on Saturday and met Syed Khadir Saheb and Mohammad Ali, the committee’s officers. The office holders explained to Mr. Reddy the thorough plan they had created for the renovation of the Dargah and the building of a wedding hall in Gangavati, with an estimated cost of 6 crores.
Gali Janardhan Reddy urged them to give him the details and assured them of his support for the initiative. He signed the documents, gave them to his secretary Ali Khan, and asked to manage the project as soon as possible. The office bearer, Mr. Khadir, then revealed to journalists that although Mr. Reddy had not given any financial help, he had pledged to provide the project with his full backing.
