A utility pole near the ‘See Sanduru In September’ viewpoint on the Kudligi Road in Dharmapur village, Sanduru taluk, has broken in the middle after being struck by an unidentified vehicle. The damaged structure poses a significant safety hazard to the area.
The viewpoint attracts a large number of tourists daily, including children and women, who come to enjoy the lush green natural surroundings of Sanduru. Due to the accident, the pole is in a dangerous condition, prompting visitors to urge authorities to remove the debris and install a new utility pole as soon as possible.
Assistant Executive Engineer Umesh stated that the broken pole will be cleared and a new one installed promptly for the convenience and safety of tourists.
