Vijayanagara district administration is gearing up to host the 3rd G20 Sherpa meeting in Hampi from July 10-12. In the past two months, representatives from the External Affairs Ministry have traveled to Hampi twice, and they are expected to meet with district administration officials once again soon.
The Vijayanagara administration is actively engaged in various preparatory measures such as expanding parking facilities, improving security arrangements, increasing accommodation options, and implementing other related tasks. The Ministry of External Affairs is consistently providing valuable inputs and suggestions to support these efforts.
According to Vijayanagara Deputy Commissioner Venkatesh T, the summit will take place in the historic Hampi region. He mentioned that Hampi, after Bengaluru and Mysuru, has been chosen as the host city for this significant event. The External Affairs Ministry officials have already visited Hampi twice, and they are anticipated to make another visit to ensure the preparations are on track. Over 200 delegates from G20 nations are expected to attend the summit in Hampi.
