The Tungabhadra reservoir, which has a storage capacity of 105.788 TMC, had only 9.55 TMC of water as of Friday, compared to 52.93 TMC at the same time last year. A skater from Bihar who has been crossing the country entirely on roller skates, without a vehicle of any kind, has reached Hospet after more than one hundred and forty five days on the road, taking in stops at Hampi's Virupaksha Temple and the Vittala Temple chariot along the way. The skater, known on social media as Keshu Skater, hails from Sitamarhi district in Bihar and has covered thousands of kilometres since setting out, travelling from the eastern state all the way down to Karnataka in the south.
