Bellary Health Department begins door-to-door survey to fight Covid

Bellary Health Department has begun door-to-door surveys to keep an eye on the increasing COVID-19 cases and by identifying people over the age of 60 in the district. The survey will also look out for people suffering from different diseases and those with low oxygen levels.

Their mandate will include testing, spreading awareness on isolation guidelines, necessary assistance to Covid infected persons, treatment for home isolated people, stamping, health check-up etc.

District health education officer Ishwara Dasappanavar, who was working in the survey in Devi Nagar, Bellary, said that people are being briefed on the precautionary measures that should be taken to prevent Covid infection.
