The Indian Administrative Services officers have been assigned by the Election Commission of India to act as General Observers in the Ballari district during the upcoming general elections to the Assembly. Their role is to oversee the arrangements made for the elections and also ensure that there are no violations in the different Assembly segments. This move aims to ensure a fair and transparent election process.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Pavan Kumar Malapati, has shared that the observer for Ballari City and Sandur segments, Pandya, will be staying at Room No. 3 in the New Government Guest House, located off Dr. Rajkumar Road in the city. Pandya will be available to the public between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday, providing an opportunity for citizens to raise any concerns they may have regarding the election process.
For Kampli and Siruguppa segments, Vijaya Kumar J. Jayaram has been appointed as the observer by the Election Commission of India. Jayaram will be staying in Room No. 1 of the New Government Guest House, and will be available to the public from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
The observer for the Ballari Rural segment, Rajamani, has been appointed by the Election Commission of India to oversee the electoral process in the district. Rajamani will be staying in Room No. 2 of the New Government Guest House and will be available to the public from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
Malapati urged the public to meet with the observers at the designated time and place to report any election-related complaints or grievances.
