Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Reddy acknowledged Mr. Patil’s prompt response. In the wake of his correspondence, Mr. Patil swiftly engaged with the Finance Department and provided assurance regarding the matter’s presentation in the State Cabinet, as stated in a media communication on Thursday.
Originally projected at ₹85 crores, the construction expenses for the new court complex underwent revision to ₹121.90 crore, following considerations from the High Court. This revised evaluation gained subsequent endorsement from the appropriate authorities. However, a remaining amount of ₹21.90 crore from this updated estimate is yet to be disbursed by the government.
