Minister Anand Singh responded to the demand of Puneet Rajkumar fans. He stated that a circle in the city will be named after Puneet Rajkumar, this could be the Shanbhag circle (at present). He added that an art gallery and a park would also be built in his name in Hosapet city.
Meanwhile at Ballari, Gali Janardhana Reddy has said that in remembrance of Puneet Rajkumar, he will build a hospital and a school for the needy in Ballari. On Monday evening, Janardhana Reddy, his wife, and his elder brother, MLA Somashekar Reddy, performed rituals and offered prayers for Puneeth Rajkumar at Ballari.
“We had a strong bond with Puneeth as a family. In fact, he had backed me up when my son decided to pursue a career in the film industry. Reddy further stated that he will seek that the Ballari city bus station is named after Puneeth Rajkumar, as the actor had a strong connection to the city.
“Since he has a strong fan base in Ballari and Vijayanagara, the administration should grant his request,” Reddy added.
