Aam Aadmi Party has recently accused Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha (KRPP) leader Gali Janardhana Reddy, who is also contesting as a candidate from Gangavati, of withholding crucial information regarding the cases filed against him in his election affidavit.
According to the AAP, Reddy has not provided complete details about the pending cases in his affidavit, which is a violation of the rules set by the Election Commission. This allegation has sparked a new controversy in the political arena, with many questioning the transparency and accountability of political leaders.
AAP candidate Sharanappa Sajjihola has recently filed a complaint with election officials, alleging that Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha (KRPP) leader Gali Janardhana Reddy was involved in the murder of Ballari Municipal Corporation member Padmavathi in 2019. Sajjihola claims that Reddy was also named as an accused in the case. However, Reddy’s lawyer has objected to these allegations, stating that his client’s name is not mentioned in the FIR of the case.
