Following the directive of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, District In-charge Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan has declared that 2 lakh rupees in compensation will be granted to the families of the seven individuals who tragically lost their lives in a consecutive accident near the Vyasanakere railway station in Hospet taluk.
After a meeting with the Chief Minister, during which he outlined the circumstances of the incident, it was emphasized that the deceased belonged to economically disadvantaged families. Their need for assistance was convincingly conveyed, leading the Chief Minister to approve a compensation package of ₹ 2 lakh for each family. The Minister assured that support will be extended to the families affected.
The fatal incident occurred when a tipper breached a highway divider and collided with both a car and a truck on Monday evening, claiming the lives of seven out of the eight occupants.
