₹30 Crore drinking water project to commence soon at Hagaribommanahalli

MLA K. Nemarajanayaka announced that a tender has been issued for drinking water projects worth ₹30 crore under the Amrit project specifically for Hagaribommanahalli.

He made this announcement while inaugurating the ‘One Stage, Many Fulfillments’ program at Taluk Stadium on Thursday.

A Gujarat-based contractor has secured the tender, and work is set to commence soon. Nemarajanayaka mentioned that a request will be made to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to allocate funds for a project aimed at filling 17 lakes in the constituency.

He also highlighted plans to establish computer labs in high schools with an investment of ₹10 crore and to distribute sports equipment to 201 schools.

This initiative marks the first in the state where all government facilities are provided under one roof to 1,747 beneficiaries from 23 government departments. Nemarajanayaka emphasized the importance of governmental commitment to fulfilling promises.

Reflecting on the past decade, he stressed the need for justice for all residents, including those in the most remote areas, and urged officials to uphold their commitments.

During the event, symbolic distributions were made, including sports kits to schools, mobile phones to Anganwadi workers, and health kits to Asha workers.

Tehsildar Chandrasekhara Shambanna Ghadi delivered the introductory speech.

Hullal, BEO Mailesh Bevoor, Agriculture Department Officer Surani, Municipal Council members B. Gangadhar, Deepak Sa Kathare, Channamma Vijayakumar, JDS Taluk Unit President Y.
