A six-month-old baby from Karnataka has earned a spot in the World Wide Book of Records for sitting without support for 44 minutes and 8 seconds.
Named Dvitha, the infant is the second daughter of Mohan Kumar Danappa and Sowmyashree, residents of Kampli. The record-setting moment occurred in Bengaluru on June 28, where Dvitha maintained her posture and balance independently, an impressive display of strength and control for her age.
Mohan Kumar Danappa confirmed that the editorial board of the World Wide Book of Records has officially certified it as a new world record.
Interestingly, achievements often run in families. Mohan Kumar previously held a national-level marathon record, while his elder daughter, Disha Mohan, has records in fancy dress and Bharatanatyam categories.
