On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, a grand procession was flagged off today in Hosapete by the Hon’ble MLA of Vijayanagara Assembly Constituency, Shri H.R. Gaviappa. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, community leaders, and students who gathered to pay tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Vijayanagara District was also present during the ceremony, supporting the celebrations and emphasizing the importance of Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy in shaping a just and inclusive society.
The program concluded with tributes to Dr. Ambedkar’s statue and a community gathering to reflect on his life and message.
