Kampli Utsav after Ballari Usav and Hampi Utsav

Kampli Utsav will be celebrated on February 12 by the district administration, in the same manner as Hampi and Ballari Utsav said J.N. Ganesh, MLA of Kampli, Ballari district. A planning session for the event was conducted at the Government First Grade Degree College in Kampli on Tuesday.

Kampli Utsav

“The Vijayanagara Empire left behind a number of historically significant locations in the town of Kampli. The town is well-known for being the Vijayanagara Empire’s Gateway. The Somanath Temple, Gandugali Kumararama’s fort, and numerous other tourist attractions have been housed there. The long-awaited Kampli Utsav, which would honor the city’s greatness, would take place.” said Mr. Ganesh. He directed taluk’s administration to carefully prepare the event and make every effort to make it a reality.

The district government was getting ready for the event, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner P.S. Manjunath. “It is intended that the event will be held at Kalgudi Vishwanath Layout. The main stage will have the appearance of the former Kampli Fort. The festivities will include Tunga Aarati, Jambu Savari, and other cultural and sporting events. We intend to place more emphasis on encouraging regional artists to participate in the celebration and display their talents. Additionally, there will be about 30 booths for the display and sale of handcrafted goods and agricultural products,” the officer stated.

Additionally, he gave orders to Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company officials to maintain a constant power supply throughout the festivities.
