A baby girl who had been separated from her parents in Bellary and taken in by the city’s “Amulya Shishugriha” orphanage has found a new home with a foreign couple. The child, discovered in Tippegundi, a village in Siruguppa taluk, was rescued a year and a half ago and cared for at the orphanage.
On May 8, in a ceremony attended by District Collector Prashanth Kumar Mishra, the girl was officially adopted by a couple from Florida, USA.
Adoption provides a new beginning for children without families and helps them grow in a loving and supportive environment. It also allows adoptive parents the chance to offer a nurturing home to a child in need. International adoptions, like this one, are a testament to the global effort to ensure every child finds a family.
