Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Ballari district on October 16. At 1:45 p.m., she is scheduled to visit the Gram Panchayat library in Bagevadi village, Siruguppa taluk.
At 3 p.m., she will take part in the inauguration of an agricultural training center and agro-processing unit for farmers at Konchigeri village in Siruguppa taluk, established under the Parliamentary Local Area Development Fund.
Later, at 4:45 p.m., the minister will review the functioning and progress of Karnataka Gramin Bank at its head office in Ballari city. She will stay at the government guest house overnight and proceed to Vijayanagar district on October 17, according to the official release.
