A soldier from Ballari, who was on a 30-day leave, has voluntarily curtailed his break and rejoined the Indian Army amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
Syed, currently posted in Srirangam, Rajasthan, had returned to his hometown on sanctioned leave. However, due to the escalating conflict, he was recalled for duty and chose to cut short his leave to just 9 days.
Having joined the army last year, Syed received heartfelt wishes from villagers as he departed. He stated that, at such a crucial time, serving the nation takes precedence over personal time.
