The ‘Navu Dravida Kannadigaru Chalavali’ organization has urged the district administration to ensure that both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food are served at the upcoming 88th All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelan in Bellary, promoting food equality.
The group pointed out that during the Mandya conference, a similar demand for food equality had led to the inclusion of eggs. They have now appealed for the Bellary conference dates to be announced along with the detailed food menu.
The petition was submitted by the organization’s representatives, Chethan, Bellary Shekhar Babu, and Abhi Vokkaliga from Mandya.
