24-hour drinking water supply project will be complete soon. The Minister of Urban Development Mr Basavaraj said that 24-hour water supply will be provided to all the 13 zones of the city by June 29.
The project will be completed by December in Bellary, whereas 7 zones in Hospet city will be operational by June 29.
The administration has also instructed police officials to survey and report unauthorized buildings in 35 wards of the city. There is information that there are unofficial layouts in the city and no tax is paid on these properties.
Tax increases are inevitable in terms of the city’s development. Instructions have been given to the authorities to take the next step in this direction.
