To boost innovative start-ups in the Kalyana Karnataka region, the State government has sanctioned ₹4 crores for 19 new entrepreneurs under the ELEVATE program, Minister for Information Technology and Biotechnology Priyank Kharge announced.
In a press release on Friday, Mr. Kharge stated that funds have been allocated to support 19 start-up firms, including three in Ballari, 11 in other districts, two each in Bidar and Koppal districts, and one in Raichur district.
The entrepreneurs focus on various sectors such as biotechnology, information technology, agriculture, animal husbandry, education, and banking.
Out of the 19 organizations, seven start-ups will receive ₹25 lakh each, while the remaining 12 will get between ₹15 lakh and ₹20 lakh each.
Mr. Kharge congratulated the entrepreneurs and encouraged graduate youths from the region to establish more start-ups to create employment opportunities.
