In this case, Vishwanath was seen creating videos on a railway track and a high bridge, exposing himself and others to potential danger. The incident occurred on a railway bridge near the Kanaka Durgamma Temple in Ballari. Vishwanath was filmed standing on the elevated bridge, where trains pass frequently, while recording a dance-style reel. He later uploaded the video on Instagram, ignoring the possibility of a fatal mishap.
Police on High Alert
The Ballari District Police have been closely monitoring unsafe activities in public and restricted zones. The district police’s Social Media Cell noticed the viral video and examined technical data to locate the site and identify the person involved.
Action by Police
Based on the evidence, officers from Brucepet Police Station traced Vishwanath and detained him. Legal action has been initiated against him for risking public safety and performing stunts in a prohibited area.
Police Warning to Youth
Police officials cautioned that youngsters should not endanger their lives for online fame. They stated that making reels on railway tracks, electric poles, or high bridges is a punishable offence and that strict action will be taken against violators.
