Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad N. Zubair has directed that, as part of Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations, all cinema halls in the district must screen Kannada films for a week from November 1 to 7.
The order applies to all permanent, semi-permanent, and temporary cinema halls and video theatres across the district. He warned that licenses will not be renewed for those failing to comply. It is also mandatory to light lamps at cinema halls on August 31 and November 1, he added.
