The CBI detained three employees of the Central Archeology Department on Thursday. This was in exchange for their request to make a Rs 1 lakh payment in exchange for approval to construct a residence. Prashant Reddy, Yogeesh, and Mohammad Ghous were all caught up in the CBI’s investigation.
A social activist named Rajasekhar Mulali requested permission (NOC, No Objection Letter) from the Central Archeology Department in order to construct a home around Infantry Road in Bellary City.
The proposal’s approval committee members asked for a fee of Rs 1.5 lakh. Rajasekhar Mulali then lodged a case with the CBI. The officials apprehended the people who had come to a private hotel to collect advance payment red-handed.
