Three Central Archeology Department Officials Arrested in Bribery Case by the CBI in Ballari

The CBI detained three employees of the Central Archeology Department on Thursday. This was in exchange for their request to make a Rs 1 lakh payment in exchange for approval to construct a residence. Prashant Reddy, Yogeesh, and Mohammad Ghous were all caught up in the CBI’s investigation.

A social activist named Rajasekhar Mulali requested permission (NOC, No Objection Letter) from the Central Archeology Department in order to construct a home around Infantry Road in Bellary City.

The proposal’s approval committee members asked for a fee of Rs 1.5 lakh. Rajasekhar Mulali then lodged a case with the CBI. The officials apprehended the people who had come to a private hotel to collect advance payment red-handed.
