Bellary Thermal Power Station construction of water pipeline in the village had dug in the ground near the Kamalapura-Nallapura road of the Vijayanagara era fortress wall. The fort’s wall was damaged by the workers.
BTPS had directed the government to stop the work as the fortress wall was damaged. The work was then discontinued as per the directions.
Sheikh Tanvir Asif, Assistant Commissioner of Hosapete Taluk, sent the officers to the spot.
For three days, the work of rebuilding the dilapidated fortress wall has been going well. The pipeline work has been undertaken from Narayanapur reservoir to Kudithini’s Bellari Thermal Power Plant (BTPS).
