Massive fire at Rajshree Industries in Hospet causes significant damage

A massive fire broke out at Rajshree Industries in the Sanakalapur Industrial Area on 11th June 2024, Tuesday at around 9:30 AM due to a short circuit. Prompt action by the Hospet Fire Station, GESCOM line in charge, and Rural Police Station officials helped control the blaze, which took nearly two hours to extinguish.

Fortunately, there were no casualties reported in the incident. However, a laborer sustained minor injuries and was initially treated at the Hospet Government Hospital. Following first aid, the laborer was referred to VIMS Bellary for further treatment. The laborer is currently out of danger and is recovering.

The fire resulted in significant damage, with an estimated material loss of Rs. 15 lakhs. Additionally, the civil structure of Rajshree Industries has been destroyed.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the short circuit to prevent similar incidents in the future. Rajshree Industries has expressed gratitude to the emergency response teams for their swift action in controlling the situation and minimizing the potential for greater harm.
