The entire office has been sealed down on Wednesday since COVID-19 has been confirmed for the outsourcing employee of the Regional Transport Office (RTO). On the 12th, the employee had a cough and a cold.
A throat sample was sent for examination as it was symptomatic and Coronavirus infection was confirmed by examination.
The employee has been taken to Sanjeevani Hospital, Sandur. The first contact with the infected person was quarantined at a private hotel in the city, with 13 office staff and 10 outside office workers. The office is currently sealed and the office’s work is halted.
