Hospet-Hubli four-track railway line to be built soon: MP Rajasekhara Hitnal

MP Rajasekhara Hitnal has announced that the construction of a new double-line railway track between Hospet and Hubli will soon commence, adding to the existing double rail line. This development was revealed after the completion of Bhumi Pooja for a 105-crore overpass project on National Highway 50 near Hosalingapur Cross in the Koppal Lok Sabha constituency.

Hitnal mentioned that 29.04 crores have been sanctioned for the construction of an overpass at Huligi, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the local people. The tender process for the project has been completed, and work will start shortly. The new railway line aims to boost connectivity and reduce congestion between Hospet and Hubli.

MP Rajasekhara Hitnal also visited Hubli on July 9th, where he discussed various development issues related to the Koppal area with Railway General Manager Arvind Srivastava at Rail Soudha.
