Following the car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, authorities have tightened security across Vijayanagar district, with special focus on Hampi and the Tungabhadra reservoir.
Police have stepped up security measures at major tourist destinations, including Hampi and the Tungabhadra Dam, with additional deployment of personnel and the bomb disposal squad. Patrols have been intensified to prevent any untoward incidents, and extra vigilance is being maintained in crowded areas.
Superintendent of Police S. Jahnavi said that security arrangements have been strengthened more than ever, with teams stationed at key locations to ensure safety and maintain law and order.
