Hampi festival
The historic Hampi Festival is to begin today, for which the Vijayanagara Empire is decorated as a bride. CM BS Yeddyurappa will be in charge of the evening’s event, which will be decorated with relics of past history. Four stage sets have been set for the festival.
Apart from the Sri Krishna Devaraya (Gayatri Peetha) platform, various cultural events will be held at the Basavanna Forum, Srivirupakshavara Temple Forum and Peanut Ganapha Forum.
