Hampi to Get Electric Vehicle Charging Station and Drinking Water Facilities Soon

Member of Parliament E. Tukaram announced that a vehicle charging station and drinking water facilities will be set up soon near Hampi under the Corporate Social Responsibility fund. On Wednesday, Tukaram inspected the ongoing conservation and development work of monuments by the Archaeological Survey of India. He announced that a vehicle charging station and drinking water facilities will be set up soon under the Corporate Social Responsibility fund. Two well-equipped buses will be provided from the Member of Parliament’s area development fund to facilitate a comprehensive tour of Hampi. Tukaram also visited the Hazara Rama temple and inspected the ongoing work there. Later, he held a brief meeting with officials of the Hampi World Heritage Area Management Authority, Archaeological Survey of India, and tourism officials, and instructed them to set up drinking water facilities and battery vehicle charging stations immediately. Tukaram also visited the Kannada University in Hampi, where he discussed the financial constraints and staff shortages faced by the university with the vice-chancellor and other officials. He assured them that the university, being a prestigious institution in the state, will be given priority in teacher recruitment and that special grants will be released soon to address its needs.
