A drone show featuring around 3,000 drones will be staged during the Hampi Utsav, scheduled to be held in Hampi from February 13 to 15. A kite festival will also be organised as part of the celebrations. District In-charge Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan said this would be the first time such events are being held at the festival.
Speaking to reporters, the minister said the drone show, which drew large crowds during Mysuru Dasara, will now be presented at Hampi. The organisers from Delhi have been invited for the event for the first time. He added that activities such as helicopter rides, adventure sports, boating, and dog and sheep shows will also be part of the festival, as in previous years.
