In a major boost to the region’s infrastructure and welfare initiatives, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar inaugurated a series of development projects worth ₹1,234 crore in Kudligi constituency of Vijayanagara district on Sunday.
The event also marked the launch of a project to fill water in 74 lakes across the constituency, aimed at enhancing groundwater levels and improving irrigation facilities for local farmers.
During the program, Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmed Khan participated alongside senior Congress leaders and officials. The leaders also distributed benefits to beneficiaries under various government welfare schemes.
Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated the demonstration fair of Congress Guarantee Programs in Kudligi town, showcasing the successful implementation and reach of the government’s flagship schemes across Karnataka.
MLA N.T. Srinivas was also present during the event.
