Three professors from Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University in Bellary have been named in the prestigious annual list of renowned scientists published by Stanford University in the United States.
Prof. KV Prasad, Senior Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Vice-Chancellor of Evaluation at Koppal University, and Prof. Hanumesh Vaidya, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, have made the list for the second consecutive year. Dr. Ashwin P., Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department, has been included for the first time.
Stanford University compiles this list to honor exceptional researchers worldwide, utilizing metrics such as H-Index, Impact Factor, and citation counts to evaluate research quality. The list was released last week in collaboration with Elsevier, a respected publisher of academic research. Notably, the top 2% of scientists across various fields are selected based on comprehensive criteria.
