A woman has been arrested by Ballari’s Cowl Bazaar police station on charges related to illegal sexual activities and trafficking of women.
According to authorities, the arrested woman, who had rented a house in Bandihatti village, was allegedly transporting women from different places and profiting from illicit sexual activities.

What is IPC 370?
IPC 370, under the Indian Penal Code, pertains to trafficking of persons. This section of the law specifically addresses actions related to buying, selling, or disposing of any person as a slave, or accepting, receiving, or detaining any person against their will for the purpose of exploitation. In the context of the recent arrest in Bellary, the inclusion of charges under IPC 370 underscores the gravity of the allegations against the woman, highlighting the legal stance against human trafficking and exploitation.
