The outbreak of bird flu has sparked concern among poultry consumers in Bellary. In a private farm at Baradanalli, Kapgal village, 8,000 chickens have died, while an additional 7,000 were culled as a precautionary measure.
In response, the district administration has issued a high alert around Kapgal village, restricting public movement within a 10 km radius. Additionally, pesticide spraying has been initiated around the affected poultry farm to prevent the spread of the virus. The situation has left Bellary residents anxious.
