Actor Darshan, now housed in Ballari Jail after his transfer from Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru, is facing severe loneliness and depression. He has gone silent, refusing to communicate with jail staff, and has barely eaten.
Darshan’s family plans to visit him on Sunday. They are contemplating the possibility of renting a local house for an extended stay and are considering requesting a change in his detention location due to the severe climate. They will also seek legal advice to explore their options.
On Friday morning, Darshan, who rose at 6:30 am, asked for permission to walk within the barracks. He has been allowed to take brief walks in the barrack area, with half-hour sessions permitted in both the afternoon and evening.
