The Mysuru‑Ajmer express (16281/82) will resume weekly operations from Saturday, travelling through Kotturu and the T.B. Dam after being cancelled earlier. Departing Mysuru at 08:00 each Saturday, it will reach Tungabhadra Dam by 16:40, continue to Ajmer on Monday morning, and return to Mysuru by Wednesday evening, the Vijayanagara Railway Users Association announced.
The Saturday service leaves Mysuru at 08:00, stops at Hassan, Davanagere and Kotturu before reaching the Tungabhadra Dam station at 16:40. Skipping Hospet Junction, the train proceeds directly through Koppal, Hubballi, Pune and Mumbai, arriving in Ajmer at 04:30 on Monday. The return departs Ajmer at 18:55 Monday, reaches the T.B. Dam station at 10:00 Wednesday and pulls into Mysuru at 19:00. Association president Yamunesh, along with members Mahesh Kuduthini and Deepak Ull, provided these details.
